Throughout the school, we run Open Sessions where parents can come in to the classroom and watch how their child learns. Parents are able to observe their child participating in whole class Literacy and Maths lessons, as well as group activities. Afterwards there is time for parents to ask any questions and to look around the classroom.
The feedback from parents has been very positive. They feel that these sessions provided them with a valuable insight in to how their child learns at school and gave them ideas for activities to support their child at home.
Although these Open Sessions are aimed at parents- Grandparents and other family members are more than welcome too!
If you would like any more information on these Open Sessions, please contact the school and ask to speak to Mrs Edworthy, our Parent Partnership Lead.
