Marine Magic
Our Marine Magic theme has been very popular with the children and we kicked it all off with a visit to Living Coast in Torquay.
The children enjoyed a fantastic day out, learning lots about the animals and exploring food chains and webs in a very interactive way!
In school, the children have been learning all about the local coastline as well as other coastlines around the world.
After realising that Miss Jago had found a ‘message in a bottle’ at Goodrington Beach, the children thought it would be a good idea to respond to the request it contained, made by Brendan from New Zealand, asking for information about our coastline and the others that his bottle may have passed on its journey.
The children have done lots of learning in this area and the link below will send you to another page which contains lots of examples of this. This includes art work, research, writing of newspaper reports and filming of a news report in the style of a TV news programme.
The children have enjoyed all of this learning immensely and we hope that you manage to find time in your busy half term schedules to share in your child’s learning by visiting our website with them.
