Living Coasts

Year 2 have recently visited Living Coasts as part of their theme” Life in the Freezer”. Here the children were get to get up close to the penguins and watch both the otters and seals being fed. They had great fun watching the Awks dive for their food and enjoyed listening to the talks on the wading birds and the two different sorts of penguins at the attractioin. Back in class the children were able to compare these penguins with the Emperor Penguins from Antartica.
