Hayes School - Religious Education (RE)

The Local Authoritys agreed syllabus for religious education forms the basis for religious studies in the school. The topics which are focused on are special times, key figures, sacred writing, community, the natural world and worship. Each topic draws mainly on the Christian experience, although all the major world religions are explored through the school. Arrangements can be made for parents to withdraw their children from RE lessons if they wish.
