A group of year six children have been learning about the work of Chiliean poet, Pablo Neruda. They studied a narrative poem with strange conventions, particularly punctuation. They analysed the passage below and explored the wonderful imagery he creates. From the poem below, the children used this as inspiration to write about a very different contrasting environment- the city. The children did this using google docs to edit and add together as a team.
