Peer Mediators

Our Peer Mediators at Hayes school are a group of children from both year three and year six who were successful with their application to become peer Mediators.

During their training the children showed commitment and enthusiasm to develop the skills needed to be an excellent Peer Mediator. They did not even mind missing out on their own Golden Time whilst in their training as the sessions were held on a Friday afternoon.

The Peer Mediators proudly wear their badges as they to help their peers solve minor friendship issues on the playground. 

They will not judge or express opinions but they will always listen to the problem and encourage their peers to come to a solution themselves.
