We also offer parents the opportunity to come in to school and attend our Family Learning workshops. These courses are run in conjunction with the teachers in each Key Stage. These sessions help parents to understand how their child learns at school, gives them an opportunity to ask questions and recommends activities that they can do with their child at home.

The content of the courses vary. We run four week workshops covering Reading, Writing, Spelling and Grammar and Maths. We also run five week workshops with either a Maths or a Literacy focus. The EYFS courses run during the morning and the Key Stage One and Two courses run after school. The course, crèche facilities and refreshments are provided free of charge.

If you would like any more information on these Family Learning sessions, please contact the school and ask to speak to Mrs Strong, our Parent Partnership Lead.
